Juergensen Airfield - Fergus,
Ontario
Juergensen Airfield just outside Fergus,
ON is home to Lift-off Aviation and a half dozen other aircraft.
Owned and operated by Chris Juergensen, the airstrip has a 2300
ft long, well maintained grass runway. The airfield is located in
picturesque farmland, away from busy control zones and is a perfect
spot for ultralight flying.
Flying in an ultralight aircraft is an
incredible experience - a lot of fun, quite safe and the least expensive way
to fly. That's why ultralights are becoming the most popular type of
aircraft in Canada. The airplane we use is called a Chinook Plus 2. It's
a 2 seat ultralight with excellent visibility and performance, designed and
built in Canada.
